Drill Training Information
Drill Training Prep Classes:
We are holding drill training prep classes for those interested in trying out for Drill Training for the 2026 season! Prep days will be held in the Drill Room at FHS. You can enter the drill doors located in the stadium parking lot.
February 18th and March 18th from 4:30-6:00pm
What to wear: Any dance wear and any dance shoes/turner or barefoot. Hair must be pulled out of your face.
Tryouts:
Wednesday, April 1st 4:15-6:00pm-
Learn tryout material! Location- Wranglerette Drill Room- Located in the FHS football stadium parking lot
Pre-Tryout Parent/Guardian Meeting will follow --VERY IMPORTANT!!
Location- FHS Library- You can park at the front of the high school- The girls can come to the library after they are done dancing
Thursday, April 2nd- 4:15-6:00pm- Last day to turn in application, report card, and permission form.
Location- Wranglerette Drill Room- Located in the FHS football stadium parking lot
Arrive at Drill Room for final preparations/ practice at 4:15. Tryouts will begin around 4:30 p.m. When all of the groups have performed for the judges, the candidates will be given a time to return that night to receive their results in a sealed envelope with their number on it.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Wednesday (Practice) - Any dance wear and any dance shoes/turner or barefoot. Hair must be pulled out of your face. No jewelry or gum.
Thursday (Tryouts)- Any black dance wear--please keep it simple. (no rhinestones/studio name) Top can be a full length top or a crop top. Bottoms can be leggings, biker shorts, skort, etc. Any dance shoes. Hair in neat slick back bun- no hair hanging in your face. More makeup than daily makeup. Hair must be pulled out of your face. No jewelry or gum.
DRILL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: All Drill Training candidates:
Must submit online application by Tuesday April 2nd.
Must turn in a hard copy of your most recent report card
Must turn in a completed parent permission form. (Must be printed and signed to turn in)
